This project involved redesigning a well-established travel bags brand that had been online for years but had hit a growth plateau. Despite steady traffic and brand recognition, the store was no longer converting efficiently, making paid scaling difficult. The goal was to modernize the experience, remove conversion friction, and rebuild the store as a performance-driven sales engine capable of scaling profitably.

Challenge & approach
The existing store suffered from design fatigue and outdated UX patterns. Product pages were information-heavy but decision-poor, mobile conversions lagged behind traffic growth, and average order value remained flat. The biggest challenge was improving conversion efficiency without disrupting the brand’s existing customer base or relying on aggressive discounting.
With years of experience redesigning mature e-commerce stores, the approach focused on behavioral UX, not cosmetic changes. The store was treated as a decision-making system, where clarity, reassurance, and momentum mattered more than visual complexity. The strategy centered on improving product page psychology, optimizing cross-sell moments, and aligning the entire flow with paid traffic behavior.

The way we worked
The process began with identifying conversion drop-offs across key pages, especially on mobile. Product pages were restructured to surface value, durability, and use-case clarity earlier in the scroll. Navigation and collections were simplified to reduce browsing fatigue. A conversion-focused upsell app was integrated to introduce relevant add-ons and complementary travel products at the right moment, increasing order value without interrupting the checkout experience. Each change was tested against real traffic behavior and refined to support scalability.

The redesigned Shopify store delivered a cleaner, more intentional buying experience with clearer product hierarchy, stronger CTAs, and smart upsell placements. Within the first three months post-redesign, the brand achieved 2–3x ROAS on paid campaigns, alongside improved add-to-cart rates and higher average order value.
